My career has taken me from science classrooms in Australia, Canada, Kazakhstan, China, and Bermuda. Along the way, I became increasingly interested not only in how students learn, but also in how teachers learn and how schools navigate change.

Today, I work as an Educational Technology and Innovation Coach, partnering with teachers, leading AI integration initiatives, and helping design systems that make complex work more purposeful and manageable.

My work as a coach remains deeply influenced by my experience as a classroom teacher. I understand the realities of curriculum, assessment, student needs, and limited time because I have worked within them. That perspective continues to shape how I approach coaching, curriculum design, professional learning, and educational change.

Cross-curricular STEM through sailing

Collaborated with teachers to design a cross-curricular learning experience connected to Endeavour’s STEM through sailing program. The project brought together science, mathematics, design, and other curriculum areas through an authentic, place-based learning experience.

Research and Inquiry

Reflection and inquiry are central to how I grow as an educator and leader. Through my Master of Arts in Educational Technology, I examined how learning design, assessment, coaching, technology, and leadership intersect in practice. These essays trace the development of my thinking, from the goals that brought me to the program to the questions that will guide what comes next.
